Dog Boots Sizing Guide
Choosing the right size is essential for your dog’s comfort and safety. Please measure your dog’s paws carefully before ordering.
Measurement Preparation
Before measuring your dog’s paws, please make sure:
- Best timing: Measure when your dog is calm and relaxed.
- Tools: Use a flat surface such as cardboard, a pen, and a ruler.
- Paw grooming: Trim excess hair around the paw, especially between the toes, for more accurate results.

How to Measure
- Let your dog lie naturally on a flat surface (the paw should be relaxed and not bearing weight).
- Using a pen to mark the front tip of the longest toe (including nail), the back of the heel, and the widest points of the paw.
- Measure the length (from toe tip to heel) and the width (the widest part of the paw) in a straight line (not at an angle) between the points.
To improve accuracy:
- Measure at least 3 times and use the largest value.
- For active dogs, add an extra 1–2 mm allowance to account for movement and paw expansion.
- Paw width is the most important measurement for boots.

Special Sizing Situations
For certain dogs, standard sizing may need slight adjustments. Please refer to the guide below:
| Special Sizing Situation | Example | Recommendation |
| Growing Puppies | A 3-month-old Golden Retriever may normally fit size L, but we recommend size XL to allow room for growth. | Choose one size up. |
| Dogs with Paw Conditions | Breeds such as French Bulldogs may require extra space for comfort. | Add approximately +5 mm to paw width when selecting size. |
| Uneven Paw Sizes | Left paw 4.5 cm / Right paw 4.8 cm → Choose size based on 4.8 cm. | Choose based on the larger paw size. |
| Front & Back Paw Size Differences | Front paw 4.5 cm / Back paw 3.8 cm → Choose size based on 4.5 cm. | Choose based on the larger paw size. |
